Happy gaming news day indeed.

Today a few amazing gaming news consolidate since a few days ago: the release of StarCraft 2, the official announcement of Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter, the official announcement of Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition, and the Comic-Con character reveals of Marvel VS Capcom 3.

And The Fandom Rejoiced.

So far it’s been a good, good week. Let’s hope it stays that way.

Just watched the new Kung Fu Kid movie.

(Yeah, I refuse on principle to call it Karate Kid.)

It was pretty good. Jaden Smith (Will Smith’s son) isn’t great, but he’s not too shabby. And Jackie Chan’s got nothing on Pat Morita, but he does an excellent mentor role in his own right. The fight sequences at the end of the movie were pretty damn good too, and the move that ended it all was very cool and well-executed (from a filming standpoint).

I’d give it a 7/10.

Well, it’s been fun.

I guess after all that’s happened, I won’t be graduating from university after all.

Well, I guess it was nice to tag along for the ride. At least it was fun while it lasted.

And now for something completely different.

Still outta commission, so posting this for the sake of posting something.

Some people have asked me why I collect screenshots of kissing scenes from anime and visual novel games, and why I don’t do the same with movies and such. At first, it was hard for me to explain, but after giving it a little thought, the reasoning actually happens to be stupidly simple. In a word: Uniqueness. (This is a word you’ll be hearing quite a lot in this post from this point on, so brace yourself.)

(WARNING: Massive wall of text past this point! Read at your own risk!)
